Strep B at 20 weeks

I did at 8 weeks and had the antibiotics. I also was due to be administered antibiotics by iv in labour, they give you rounds until birth the first being 4 hours. Baby was out for me within an hour and so I didn’t receive even one full round of antibiotics, so they observed him for 24 hours (if u receive the full amount only 12). They weren’t happy with his breathing as being over vigilant, so he stayed in for a further 36 hours on antibiotics and ended up in neo natal unit too, but all was fine and I now have a very healthy, very nearly 3 month old!❤️

I had it and they didn’t pick it up until 35 weeks! They didn’t prescribe any antibiotics but they just give you antibiotics during labour that are like 99% effective in making sure baby doesn’t get it!x

First time didn’t get picked up until labour. Then this time picked up at 6 weeks

I didn’t have any typical uti symptoms but since starting the antibiotics I’m starting to feel more pelvic pain
