Found out this morning I’m pregnant!

New to the group, early days for me. Congratulations to everyone on their pregnancy! My period was due last Tuesday but was delaying taking a test because I didn’t want to jinx it! Had an early miscarriage this time last year. Woke my partner up at 5am this morning to tell him! Questions I have for you all, Have people already registered their pregnancy with a midwife? Have you had a flu vaccine or planning to? Are you going to wait to tell family till 12 weeks or tell over Christmas?

Yes I been register. Have first appointment tomorrow😊

Congratulations mama 🎉

Registered, currently have flu so might not bother and I think 12 weeks but told my mum and sister x

Congratulations! Yes I’ve done my self referral early and already have my appointments booked. First one with the midwife is on Thursday next week, and my 12 weeks scan is on the 20th of January. I won’t take the flu vaccine. My MIL has guessed that I’m pregnant, so she knows already, and I told my boss so he knows incase something happens or need to go to my appointments etc. Planning to tell the rest of our family at Christmas,

Congratulations🤍 I think I’m 5 weeks, done my self referral already, and have my first appointment on 10th Jan☺️ booked a private scan for 23rd December (just for my own reassurance) will be telling immediate family around Christmas and everyone else at 12 weeks xx

Congratulations! I self referred about 3 days after finding out as I was clueless. Private scan is booked for 8 weeks, first appt with midwife also at 8 weeks and first nhs scan at 12 weeks. I’d say get it booked in because you never know with waiting times! ☺️

Yess I have registered , my booking appointment is NYE 👏 and 12 week scan is booked in for January 🤗 haven’t yet had the flu vaccine but probably will because I also have a toddler , so will be best for all of us! We have told immediate family , plan to tell grandparents over Christmas 🎄 also - CONGRATULATIONS!!
