Pregnant and with covid...

I just found out today that I got a double whammy of positives - covid and pregnancy. Kinda long story.. So I had stage 4 endo and was ttc for 4 yrs before surgery and acupuncture to assist. Finally, I fell pregnant at the end of 2021. I heard lots of people say how getting the vax would change your cycle, which happened to people I knew. I avoided it, and til today, I'm still not vaxxed. Fast forward to today. I found out I caught covid (just like a cold), then I thought, why not take a pregnancy test as well bcos I missed my period by 2 days, and it's usually early... BAM double whammy!! Idk what to do or feel any more.. Has anyone had covid while pregnant in their early stages? What's your experiences? How did your child turn out? I'm worried to death about the causes covid can lead to while pregnant... TIA

Congrats! Please do not stress, just get plenty of rest, take Vitamin C, D3 and zinc and look after yourself. You did the best thing possible not getting the vax, and I’d really urge you to stay that way and do not let any doctors of midwives convince you otherwise for the sake of your baby. Good luck 😊

Like you said yourself - it’s just like a cold and I’m sure you and Bub will be fine. I caught COVID at week 38 and that was the absolute worst… better that you have it early and build immunity now

Thank you, @Michele and @Tash Recovered from it now. I just have a lingering cough.
