Fluid helps cushion baby loads but maybe try redirect toddler to kissing bump and talking about a little baby in mummy’s belly etc and to be gentle etc etc just keep saying it even before they get close to you. Say right now there’s a baby in there and they’re coming to meet you soon etc etc and need to be careful around mummy. My 13 month old has 0 clue I don’t think but I have a wee Christmas decoration with 4d scan and it’s the only one she takes off the tree and runs away with. When I say where’s your brother she kisses my belly so I think they understand more than we think!
Oh yes same! I'm always being trampled on by my 15 month old and dog 😣, he's also well into the hitting stage so I'm always trying to block and protect my bump - I do worry sometimes but baby seems to be moving around happily in there so that's reassuring. And I always think that the midwives press quite hard in the appointments so the bump must be well protected x
This has made me realise maybe I should be a bit more cautious cause I let my 3 year old literally clamber all over me and don’t think much about it.
@Eloise same 🤣 haven’t been worrying about my nearly two year old scrambling all over me but maybe I should 😅
@Lizzy he uses my bump like a step quite often 🤣
Yes! Same here . I'm 33 weeks and my toddler is turning 2 in Feb so he is always climbing on me , kicking and jumping .. I have to use my arm to keep him from landing on my stomach. I had to get him something else to climb on
