Have you ever been anxious abt bringing your baby around certain people?

I think I’m having a problem where I was okay interacting and being around certain people before getting pregnant. Now that my baby is here there’s just certain ppl I don’t feel in a rush to bring/have my baby around. Because of these ppls “titles” it does seem weird that I’m being this way 🥺. Wondering if anyone has struggled with this. Have you ever experienced this?

I didn't even want my kid to meet her "grandparents" (father's parents). But I had to bring her around them for the first time when she was about 10/11 months because of her older brothers birthday party

@Kylie 10/11 months is a long time !

100% & that’s completely ok. We have maternal instincts for a reason and that reason is to protect our children at all costs no matter their “title”. If you don’t feel comfortable bringing your child around someone then that is completely fine. Your child wouldn’t even know to thank you for saving them by the time they’re adults because you could’ve potentially protected them as they grow up. It can be lonely sometimes, but I sacrifice my life to protect my child because her having a safe life is more important than me having my own life.
