Feeding
My LO is 2. He struggles to eat and only wants to be breastfed, even throughout the night. He got 2 cavities because of this. I'm a single mom, and it's difficult to wake up throughout the night and get to work early in the mornings. I got his oral health under control now because he now likes having his teeth brushed and it's less hassle. I am now worried about ensuring he gets the best nutrients, and I'm considering syringe feeding pediasure to ensure he gets the necessary fiber, iron, protein, etc. Any suggestions to help with feeding? Doctors keep telling me his eating habits will change.
My son’s dentist gave me the advice of using a wet wash cloth or paper towel to wipe his teeth down in between any night feeds! Also If the only time you can get a solid brushing in you feel good about is at night or during naps when he’s asleep, that counts!! As for actually eating food I’ll come back with links of accounts that focus on food & eating therapy!
