My partner is absolutely obsessed with metal (Iām coming around) and only plays metal for our baby - and he goes crazy in my uterus. Heās due in March but Iām afraid I have another metal head on my hands. He plays our baby a lot of Pantera, Opeth, Avenged Sevenfoldā¦ I mean I donāt know that much about metal but the list goes on. How did you get your little one to start head banging and when did she start? That would actually be the cutest thing ever and make the all the metal worth it!
She was dancing around in the womb and then on car rides we found out it was the only thing that would help her sleep on long trips, but around 8 months she started bobbing her head up and down to the beat of the songs. now she head bangs dances and puts her hands in the air š¤£š¤£
What bands do you listen to? Iām looking to branch out as Babymetal, Ladybaby, BANDMAID and Dethclock are the main bands I listen to. My 5 yo will request āGimme Chocolateā by Babymetal when we get in the car š
@Jessica oh my gosh that is so awesome! My favorite bands are Bad Omens, Falling in Reverse and FFDP. I do listen to a lot of Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed
@Molly ahhh thats too cute!! My partner was in a few metal bands before I met him and went on tour with a few that Iāve actually heard of and we literally have a room full of his guitars/amps/pedals. He writes a lot of post-metal to play our son when heās going crazy and kicking/punching the crap out of my uterus (which is a LOT - like father, like son for real) which works to calm him down. But when itās his turn for family dance party itās pure metal. I definitely have a feeling Iāll have a head banging child, too!
