I just offer every 3 hours unless she's started screaming the house down before then already 😂
@Resh chewing the hands is a sign of teething especially if they are dribbling loads. So maybe try some teething gel or toys to see if that helps.
@Resh same here! But we are teething so that's why! We barely nap anymore 10 mins here and there if we are lucky so I offer him every 3-4 hours but end up wasting so much milk!
@Sophie ah yeah i thought this but also their salivary glands are developing and lots of babies chew their fists as their way of exploring/soothing - i tried a teether toy and she seemed to be cross that it wasn't her thumb so i took it as a self-soothing thing! i'm sure teething is coming soon though 😵💫
same! and she's constantly sucking her thumb or chewing her fist now so thats not even a reliable cue 😶 i think they're just so distracted by everything that they forget they're hungry sometimes - i just sort of have to guess and usually offer when she wakes up from a nap
