One proud mamma - BLW gone right
For anyone not sure whether to go BLW route or not, this is my 19mo who's been eating soup this way for nearly 2 months. Never ever have we spoon fed, introduced cutlery just for fun at 9/10m, she started using it properly at 12/13m and now eats like a pro. This is in a busy restaurant full of distractions. Trust your babies, let them be messy at first and you'll get your rewards

Wow, that’s impressive! We’ve done BLW since 6month old and consistently offered cutlery the whole time but my 18 month old can’t figure out the spoon this well. (For some reason she wants to flip it upside down before putting it in her mouth). 😅🤷🏼♀️
@Chantelle it will just randomly happen one day, you will see! We used a measuring spoon at first for soup, when she spilled, she still had some left to eat and think that's how she learnt the balance
