also it may be the type of chocolate. if it’s stuff like hersheys, kitkat, etc., those are not even real chocolate. pure cacao is best. with a sweetener other than sugar (coconut sugar, agave, maple syrup). maybe try that & see how she reacts to it.
We’re in the UK so no hersheys etc. and it’s already dairy free options, and she doesn’t have it except on special occasions (and even then generally only a small amount!) but family and friends have been gifting her it at family events this week which has been very hard to say no due to it being Christmas and everyone else also eating it. I don’t know if it’s the fact that it isn’t actually in her diet that’s actually doing it (ie. because she has so little is she intolerant to the amount of caffeine/sugar in it?). I just don’t know what to do 😵💫 I’ll see if there are 100% natural options perhaps but it’s already limited enough to find it DF!
I've noticed whenever my 3 year old has any type of sweets/ dessert after dinner with lots of sugar she wakes up in the middle of the night hysterically crying. We limit her post Dinner sugars to only special occasions
you say you just don’t know what to do directly after you say she may have an intolerance. stop giving it to her! lol that’s what you do 🤷🏽♀️
@Lori This is what we had! I guess we just need to limit it until she’s older perhaps. Easier said than done with grandparents who smuggle buttons in their bags 🫣 Will have a word
i mean if it’s making her act that way, it’s not healthy for her. so sounds like you need to remove it from her diet.
