As above, short sleeve vests and baby grow. We only used long sleeve vests if we had trousers for our daughter, used it as a top almost. She was a December baby. The hospital is absolutely roasting so will be more than enough. Also you’re going to be indoors so unless you keep your house really cold then short sleeve will be fine! When going out in pram you’ll have a suit on them to keep them cosy I’d imagine and if in the car you can put blankets onto them to keep them cosy. Same with the house tbf x
My first born was also June so I understand your confusion! I’ve gone for short sleeved bodysuits and a sleepsuit on top, then of course there’s the option of cardigans and blankets of course xx
Our first baby was also a Feb baby and I am team short sleeve vests. I had a few long sleeve vests and I found them an absolute pain getting on and off a small baby so I never used them. Short sleeve vests and sleepsuits all the way. I definitely wouldn't use long sleeve vests in the hospital too as the hospital is boiling.
I have a mix of both. The only vests I didn't find any use for with my first was long sleeved. Always felt she'd be too cold if it was under a top and too cold just on its own.
Short sleeve vest with long sleeve sleep suit on top 😊
Short sleeve and baby grow. I didn’t buy any sleeveless vests til about April/ May with my October baby. And I’ve only now started buying long sleeves for under outfits not baby grows now that she’s 14 months. Long sleeves are pretty fiddly as well for a new born without the buttons down the middle like a baby grow haha I wouldn’t bother short sleeves are plenty
