Have you ever fallen down while pregnant?

I broke my ankle when I was 32 weeks and I was fine x

Twice, down stairs that were icy. But I think as long as you fall on your bum, chances of injury to baby are minimum. But always safer to get checked.

I slipped in the garden at around 30 weeks, I wasn’t worried until baby stopped moving as usual so called triage and they made me go in. Everything was fine though

I fell forward quite early in my pregnancy but put hands out so didn’t fall on stomach so wasn’t too worried. Everything has been fine since. If worried always best to get checked I’d say

Most likely. I wouldn’t worry unless I fell directly onto my stomach hard

I was 20 weeks and started spotting and because I was so early labour and delivery wouldn’t see me. I was a mess until I could get in at the ob and everything was totally fine. A friend of mine fell down the stairs at about 30 weeks and was ok also but I’d recommend getting checked as soon as possible

They monitored me for 4 hours and checked my cervix and everything is fine! My cervix is thin and I am at risk for preterm labor but my contractions slowed down so I am OK to go home.

I slid on ice walking to my car and fell at about 36 weeks. I was very shaken up but I was fine. I went to the doctor the next day and she said I was fine.

I fell on holiday getting out the shower at 25 weeks, had to try land on my side so didn’t fall on my bump had a bruised hip but everything was fine x

Twice with my first. Both at 16 weeks literally a day a part 🤦‍♀️ first I was walking my dog when it was icy and slipped, then I slipped and fell downstairs. Baby must have slept through it coz she wouldn’t move for ages after it, long enough to make me really panic but as soon as they put the thing on my belly to listen for her heart beat she started going nuts in there trying to kick it off 😂

I’ve slipped on ice, twisted my ankle, and threw my back out. It’s nerve wracking but was fine at the end. Take care of yourself and follow your doctor’s orders.

Tripped on and fell on stairs while 17 wks pregnant. I left work that same week. It wasn’t worth it to stay when nobody gave a shit that I fell

I fell outside work on a ramp at 25 weeks pregnant & I broke my ankle. Luckily all the nurses I work with, checked me over before going to A&E. Baby was fine 😊
