Health anxiety

I had my LG 3 days ago, only been home as of yesterday evening. I've been feeling fine and well other than just pure exhaustion. But I have just started having this weird feeling in my chest, I'm not short of breath, but it's making me really worried it could be something serious and I don't know what to do. I don't want to have to travel back to the hospital with baby if I'm being dramatic

I have been suffering with the exact same feeling, if it’s a tight feeling and a sort of pressure, I would say it’s anxiety my love. I would speak to your midwife about it. Only going from how I have been feeling and what I have done. I hope this reassures you a little bit. If not and your concerned it’s health related, ring 111 or maternity triage x

It's like a sinking feeling almost. It's not constant, so that makes me think it's an anxious thing, but then I get anxious about being wrong

I had this with my first baby. I think it was a mixture of anxiety, exhaustion - lack of sleep can make your body feel weird! And the strain from giving birth. I always felt much more my self after getting some sleep. See if someone can watch the baby whilst you get some much needed rest :)

It really does sound like anxiety and it’s so normal, so please know there is a lot of us going through the same thing. Totally agree with the getting sleep, make sure your eating as well and get some nice hot baths in where you can. If it isn’t passing, I would speak to your midwife. There are so many different routes of help now. I hope you start to feel better soon x
