Photos of bub on socials
Here’s the situation…
My partners sister (who we don’t really have much involvement with, as she isn’t our cup of tea), once my daughter (8 month old) was born we told her not to post photos of her due to her following and having lots of randoms follow her on social media and on about 3-4 seperate occasions she has posted my daughter knowing we’ve asked her not to post her, and we ask her multiple times each time she post her to take it down, we don’t just ask once and It’s down but still after the first time it shouldn’t have been a problem after that.
Anyways that’s the story but I’m at my wits end and just wondering am I able to go to the police about it? Will they do anything? Or nothing at all? (I’m in Australia)

@Jacquiline the hard thing is she lives with the family we visit regularly and the only way we think she will take it seriously is if we go to police or a lawyer for possibly harassment and posting a minor without parental consent
I don’t post on socials (worked in jails so totally agree with no faces on social media) ~ but I don’t think it’s a police matter. Can you report the image to the platform for removal??
Stop seeing her. She’s crossed your very clear boundary multiple times. Getting police involved is a bit much (not sure they’d be able to do anything) in my opinion, report the photos she has posted and remove her from your life.
