I’m new here!

I’m 5 weeks and 5 days today. I’ve had 2 previous miscarriages in the last year. I had my second HCG drawn today (my first was 340) and I’m a nervous wreck. I started progesterone suppositories 3 days ago and yesterday I started experiencing some mild cramping and lower back aches. I’ve read that progesterone can cause this so I’m keeping my fingers crossed…I also started to have a little discoloration (other than straight clear/white) to my discharge today. I just need this pregnancy to be ok…any ladies experience these things?

Firstly, congratulations on your pregnancy. It takes alot to be third time around, (I am also in 3rd time). I didn't take progesterone, however I did have almost harsher cramping and weird discharge which almost made me think 'well this is it...!' I am now 28 weeks. 🤞 Sending baby dust to you, ✨️✨️✨️💝

Hi Stacey, Congratulations on your pregnancy. I have had 2 recurrent miscarriages. I am now 14+5 weeks pregnant and on progesterone suppositories twice a day. I had crazy cramping at 6 weeks and again at 8 weeks. I've spotted twice once at 9 weeks and then againnat 13 weeks, and I keep having recurrent UTIs. I've had 3 already in this pregnancy! I am consultant lead, are you? I've been reading online that all this could be due to the progesterone. How are you? I was so anxious to be pregnant again and any twinge or stretch I assumed I was miscarrying because I don't know what a normal pregnancy is! Xxx

Hey Emmy! I’m a nervous wreck 😂 I got my 2nd HCG back and it was 3003!! So great jump, but then I keep having the weird light tan/discolored discharge. It’s honestly not even a lot and doesn’t even get on my underwear it’s just when I wipe off and on. But it has me spiraling that something could be wrong…I’m trying to be hopeful. I got for my third HCG Sunday/Monday and my first OB appointment is January 14th.

@Stacey, it's so nerve-wracking, isn't it. I had some discharge as well as greenish, and I was told it was my UTI! I'm just so anxious all the time, and my back is constantly achy! That's good your HCG levels are rising :) are you consultant lead? Xx

@Emmy what’s a consultant lead?

@Stacey because I've had recurrent miscarriages I'm consultant lead throughout this pregnancy. So I have an appointment every few weeks to make sure everything is okay. It's reassuring. Would be worth an ask of you can be? Xx

@Emmy No, I don’t think I am. My 1st official appointment with my new OB is Jan 14th, but I am getting my quants drawn every 48-72 hours.
