Nerves - pregnant after loss

Hello Ladies Any advice on trying stop being so scared/nervous? I am 10+1 after 3 losses last year ( 1 being a MMC at 8+6 but didn’t find out until 12 week scan) I am on progesterone and have another scan on Thursday next week, I am so scared that I’m going to get bad news again and can’t get it out my head 😩 my symptoms are also easing off which again is making me anxious - any advice/tips?

I bought a notebook and wrote little letters to my baby while I’m pregnant. Telling them about my day, how much I love them, the things in their future I’m excited for. It took my mind off of the anxiety for a while for sure! I also loved making baby shopping lists- going on different shops and taking screenshots of things I wanted to buy to help me feel excited instead of scared. Wishing you all the best❤️

@Lucy that sounds lovely, I’ll definitely bear that in mind thank you 🤍

A therapist told me you see what you focus on, and you focus on what you see. Fear and nerves are normal for any of us in this position. I’m also pregnant after two missed miscarriages and one early pregnancy loss and now pregnant again. I also had weird tummy sensations last night after an emotional day and a curry, lol. Remember our emotions are high at this point, but look for the moments to just enjoy being pregnant. Don’t let your head go to far into the future with symptoms. There is a little miracle in growing and changing all the time in there doing what it’s supposed to do. Focus on the glimmers of being pregnant right now…💕

@Leanne Thankyou so much 🥹 this was needed 🤍

I also got a heartbeat bear made so I could hear his heartbeat anytime I wanted to! That was a massive comfort! Xx

@Lucy I’ve seen the heartbeat but never got to hear it so hopefully my scan Thursday is good and baby is okay xx

If you can go to a private scan, they often do them there! Xx

After all the nerves I have a healthy active baby measuring 4 days ahead so due on 27th July 🥹 xx
