Anxious

36 weeks today and started to shit myself about going into labouršŸ˜‚ I donā€™t deal with pressure well and generally an anxious person. I have done my research but also know that not everything goes as planned, how is everyone else coping with anxiety/pressure?

I got ptsd from my first labour it ended up in emergency c section i was also induced and hated it. This time round ive just asked for a c section purely because i dont like the anticipation and i simply cannot handle contraction pains

Iā€™m right there with you! Itā€™s a scary thing but just remember you can do this!

Iā€™m an anxious person but have really tried with meditation tapes, positive birth stories, inc podcasts and positive affirmations!! and they seem to have helped. Re meditation itā€™ll work more on your subconscious so may not necessarily feel like it is helping but have heard it does! Other than that Iā€™ve been trying to organise bits around the house to make it calm and peaceful in the days leading up to birth and do things I enjoy and try not to stress out in general but sometimes thatā€™s easier said than done I know! Youā€™ve got this šŸ™ŒšŸ» xx
