Anxious

36 weeks today and started to shit myself about going into labouršŸ˜‚ I don’t deal with pressure well and generally an anxious person. I have done my research but also know that not everything goes as planned, how is everyone else coping with anxiety/pressure?

I got ptsd from my first labour it ended up in emergency c section i was also induced and hated it. This time round ive just asked for a c section purely because i dont like the anticipation and i simply cannot handle contraction pains

I’m right there with you! It’s a scary thing but just remember you can do this!

I’m an anxious person but have really tried with meditation tapes, positive birth stories, inc podcasts and positive affirmations!! and they seem to have helped. Re meditation it’ll work more on your subconscious so may not necessarily feel like it is helping but have heard it does! Other than that I’ve been trying to organise bits around the house to make it calm and peaceful in the days leading up to birth and do things I enjoy and try not to stress out in general but sometimes that’s easier said than done I know!
