6 days old and so sleepy
My little girl is 6 days old and slept most of the day just waking to feed making me nervous for tonight … she’s gaining weight perfectly. Am I in for a very wakeful night?

That’s very normal for the first week. When they get into growth spurts, they will be more awake due to discomfortness. You’d be missing her sleeping more by then 🤣
Babies do and should wake up on a night, but newborns sleep a lot. Maybe she’ll just wake for feeds, but if not she’ll probably only be awake for a short spell. It it’s rough night have a chill day tomorrow and catch up on your rest
