Blackpool !

Hey mummas ! I’m looking at moving to Blackpool , this is a major deal for me as I’ve never moved out of my parents house and this is a 300 mile move !! I was looking for opinions whether it is a nice place to have a child grow up ? My little one is currently 16 months and we’re looking at moving around next year ! My partners worried I won’t make any friends (😂) is there many toddler groups around ?

I will 100% not recommend to live inside the Blackpool itself, it’s absolutely not safe and lots of druggies. As a person who lived here and moved out. I’d recommend to live in surrounding areas. There are baby and toddler groups around

I grew up on the outskirts of blackpool. My mum lives in st.annes and my dad in bispham (near cleveleys). It was definitely lovely growing up in these areas. I wouldn’t recommend center of blackpool (anything FY1 postcode). Bit i honestly loved growing up here! There is so much to do on your doorstep. I will happily be your friend! We also have these free baby groups supplied by blackpool family hubs and I’d be happy to send you the link. There are loads of other baby groups around too! xxx

Depends where you want to live I guess I live in a little village not far from blackpool I would never live in Blackpool it’s self. There’s groups about and I’m part of a WhatsApp group for mums in the Blackpool area xx
