Wax

Hi Ladies, We're planning a beach holiday and I've been considering getting a wax appointment before we go to do underarms, legs and bikini line. I've never had wax professional done. I tried a few times at home when I was younger and found it very painful. Is it good idea to have to done just before going? Should I try couple of months before? Could I have some sort of allergic relation? Any experience you had would be very helpful. Thx.
