I think it’s 12 hours before and you can only drink water including during the fasting test

I was told I wasn’t allowed to drink or eat anything but water from midnight before my test which was at about 8:45 in the morning. You are allowed water and I would encourage you to have had a good amount of it before as I hadn’t had much and they struggled to take my blood which wasn’t very nice!

Mine is tomorrow at 8.30am and I've been told absolutely nothing but water from 8pm today, including any medication

My letter says from 10pm so basically making your last meal no later than 8.30pm. Yes you can drink water during that but small sips

Mine was 8.30 am and told nothing after 9pm other than water.

Thank you all for you comments, i started fasting at 9pm my appointment was at 9:20am, but when I arrived they said I should’ve started at 10pm x
