I refused to weight myself whilst we were trying, so I have no idea what my starting weight was, but I know the weight gain from pregnancy will push my BMI up, and getting worried about what the protocol will be once I pass 40
I found the information from the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists the most helpful. https://www.rcog.org.uk/for-the-public/browse-our-patient-information/being-overweight-in-pregnancy-and-after-birth/ I'm trying to focus more on eating a varied, healthy diet and not worry too much about weight gain. It's not always easy though!
Someone told me they only weigh you at the booking appointment and that’s it. I got weighed there and then the 12 week scan and that’s it so far. I hadn’t gained then as I was quite sick during first 3 months but now have gained quite a bit in a short amount of time 😂
@Lisa thank you! I’ll have a look at this
Me! I was a healthy weight when I fell pregnant with my 2nd baby, but then I gained too much and didn't manage to lose it all before getting pregnant this time round at 5 months pp. I'm currently overweight and I know I'll end up obese when bump gets bigger, but I'm trying everything in my power to not gain more than I need to this time round!
Meee, I lost 4 stone just before getting pregnant I really hope I don’t put it all back on x
