Tcc after d+c
Just had a d+c this week after we found out at 13 weeks that our baby had stoped growing at 10 weeks. For those who had a d+c, how long did it take to have your period back and conceive again. Did you really wait a full cycle before teying? I am devastated by the loss right now but also scared to know it could take months before we get pregnant again.

@Tanya thank you, sorry you had to go through this twice. They did my d&c while using the ultrasound and told me everything was gone
I’m so sorry you’re going through this 😔 I had a d&c back in 2020 at 11 weeks and my babies heart stopped beating at 8w6d! i still think about that sweet babe all the time ❤️ i had a regular cycle right after and they told me that you are extra fertile right after a miscarriage and if we wanted to get pregnant again that we could try again right away after my first cycle! I was a little traumatized and didn’t want to try again at the time but i have heard of others having success ttc right after a loss! good luck to you and i hope everything goes good for you from here on out! 🫶🏼

Hi, sorry to hear your going through this I look back to when this was me and can’t believe I actually had the strength feels like an old nightmare. Sending you love 🩵 I had a d&c at 13 weeks back in November 2023 baby had stopped growing at 11weeks. I kept bleeding and tested positive 3 weeks after and actually had retained products and had a 2nd d&c in January 2024. It honestly made me loose all hope however my period returned to normal a few weeks after 2nd d&c. I found out I was pregnant in April I had a very healthy pregnancy and my son was born in December so there’s always hope 🩵
