Advice With Renting

I’ve applied for housing and have been placed in band C which I believe isn’t a priority and could take years to get a home. I’ve heard that private renting is not a good idea so that leaves normal renting. Everything I see is too much, too small, not accepting families so I don’t know what to do. My living arrangement right now is very cramped with hardly any space for baby to crawl, it’s me, my partner and baby in one small room. I’m claiming UC already, would they be able to help out with rent too if we move? Thanks.

I would stick with the housing I was on band D and got somewhere it took about a year and it’s not perfect quite small and rent is higher than usual housing but it’s mine and it’s 2 bedrooms. It’s different for every area but I’d say hang it out it will be worth it

Haringey band c basically means they do / will not care about you. I'm on band B and I'm still getting high bidding numbers 😬
