I'd maybe pop it up around 36 weeks but could leave attaching it to the bed till you've brought baby home so it's not in the way, could put the straps and things all on the bed ready so just have to clip it in then! Or if you're stressing put it up sooner and just pop a sheet over the top to stop it getting dusty! X
I’m 30 weeks and we put ours up this weekend. We have the Joie next to me. It was so surprisingly easy to put up (it took 5-10 minutes) that we decided to dismantle it and we are now going to put ours up when the baby is born and home. See how you get on with yours but it might be something you can just pop up when your baby is home. Saves it being in the way/getting dusty in the meantime! X
As someone who had a premature baby previously there is no point in putting the next to me cot up till you are approx 36 weeks- that is the earliest you will be allowed to take your baby home
Have a test build now, you'll see that they're super easy to pop up. Our took myself 5 minutes max. I plan on putting mine up when I'm in early labour as a distraction but you could have your partner put it up while you're in the hospital.
Thank you all, super helpful responses! I think I'll do a test run and put it up next weekend just to make sure we know how to do it and then put it up with my husband when I'm on mat leave at 36 ish weeks!
@Lauren this is a great idea as a distraction haha!
If you have a Snuzpod brand new it was not that easy to build 😅 You could keep the mattress under wraps to start clean in the meantime!
I put mine together ages ago to check it was all okay and just haven’t taken it down 😂 it was freaking me out seeing it so left it up to get used to it
I will leave that to your husband/partner while you are in hospital. It’s quick and easy to assemble
