2 year old ex-premmie, always ill...
Hi all, my baby was born at 32 weeks, she is now 2! I am finding she is unwell constantly, yes she is at nursery but we have a viral infection roughly every 2 weeks and in the last month - 6 weeks, its been particularly bad with HF&M, norovirus, 2x colds and another stomach bug.
I'm wondering if others found this? Is this normal? I'm pulling my hair out a bit and have no other friends with premature babies, so I thought I'd ask here!

My LG was born at 33 weeks she is commonly poorly we’ve been to hospital 3 times in the last 6 months with her she’s not started nursery just yet she starts in a few weeks but I believe she’s going to be poorly a lot more I think it’s to be expected of preemies especially since they were born before lung were fully developed.
My premmie LO was like this. She didn’t come home til she was 3 months and has had numerous hospital admissions since. I’m extra vigilant in winter season but then she doesn’t go nursery so doesn’t have all the added normal germs exposure there. I hope it gets easier for you 💕
I think it is normal with them being premature unfortunately. It’s also just the time of year that doesn’t help either. I also know that premature babies are also more at risk of anaemia x
