You can live your life to your own standards. Prioritize what is most important to you. I do dishes and clean my kitchen every day because that's important to me but everyone is different.

If you don't have a dishwasher, yes If you do have a dishwasher, you can get away with handwashing dishes only like 2-3x a week, just the stuff that can't go through the DW

I let the house get messy at least 1 day a week coz I don’t see the point in cleaning every minute when a messy home is a happy home to me I have a 11 month old and he likes his toys all over and sometimes I sit and play with al day and leave the dishes and do them the next morning xx

I just feel like I wash them and when I turn back around it’s flooding again. Like how the fuck 😂😩

I am constantly doing dishes and have a dish washer. I wash pots and pans to leave more room in the dishwasher. I also wash food containers that we use for on the go meals

A moms job never ends

You will be forever cleaning your kitchen. No matter if you have a dishwasher, order takeout, buy paper plates, clean as you go, try to establish assigned dishes for different family members, or any other supposed solutions for reducing dishes… you will always have something to clean up in the kitchen. Doing it daily is a drag at night, but waking up to a clean kitchen feels nice.

I do them every morning I have a tub with a lid I put them in and I do them in the morning it gives me the evening off to play with my husband lol

I hand wash mine and i spend a lot of time washing dishes. Sometimes after a late dinner I will let the sit over night though.

I need a dishwasher. I stack them during the day and press play at night when it’s full. Days that we spend out and don’t eat at home much it could easily go 2 days until it gets full. My previous house didn’t have a DW and I couldn’t wait to get one when we moved house (was looking for a year to buy the right house)

It’s your house, you live there, what do you feel comfortable doing? Some people can’t go to bed if there’s dirty dishes in the sink; for me as Long as there are clean dishes to be used, I’m not worried about how many are dirty. I also have a drying rack that we use as our storage for most our plates, so once things are washed they go right onto where they live at, there’s no extra step of “having to put it away”

I hand-wash dishes throughout the time I'm cooking so that at the end there are only plates, utensils, and the big pot/pan left. This helps it so i dont feel overwhelmed after we're done eating. After dinner though, my wife cleans up and uses the dishwasher.

My dishes get done daily but not by me every time. Sometimes it's me. Sometimes it's my husband. Either way, they get done everyday.

Hilarious, I totally feel this! I try every day then I realize it's every day and then things slip a few days and then I regret I let it slip and try every day again ... It's a constant battle! First world problems ...

I always make sure the dishes are done before I go to sleep. I feel gross and deflated seeing a huge pile of washing I have to do the next day otherwise- along with the bottles my baby has used throughout the night!!!

My dishwasher goes on once at lunchtime and once before bed everything else is hand washed.. it’s life lol

Washing up is my least favourite job. I try to do it every day (I have a dishwasher for the smaller bits) but sometimes I get home too late or I’m too tired so I’ll leave it a day

We do our dishes every other day. We do the baby dishes every day though; we keep those in a separate tub. It’s really what works best for you & your house.

Over here we load the dishwasher 2x per day.

Fuck that , I don’t do dishes my husband does but if he doesn’t want to do them one night I don’t care he can chill

I prefer not to wake up to a sink full of dishes, but it happens Also the laundry never ends 🫠
