Dinner ideas

I need some dinner ideas for my 2 year old (also have a 9 yo who I’d like to eat the same) preferably home made dinners but simple full of veg/healthy please! When I look online it’s all fancy stuff that I can’t see kids eating!

- slow cooker orzo dishes. Lots of inspiration on instagram etc. - veggie packed chilli or spag bol e.g. grated carrot and courgette in it and lentils are a good addition - risotto - when my little one used to pick out the veg I would add blended veggies to it as a sauce (mushrooms, peas, onions, peppers, sweetcorn etc. so she wouldn’t see it) - veggie lasagne We eat the same as our little one 90% of the time so we make big portions that allow another meal for us all to be frozen for work days when we don’t have time to cook x

Curry and rice has been a hit, so some chicken cooked in curry paste, plain yoghurt, mango chutney, diced onion and bell pepper, and frozen mango chunks. Or in Thai green curry paste with broccoli/green beans/peas. Recent new one has been sausage cut into meatballs, with steamed broccoli and pesto over pasta. Butternut/pumpkin soup with egg noodles, grated carrot and chicken. Pork chops with corn cob, steamed sprouts and chips (add salt&vinegar to both the sprouts and chips!). Baked salmon fillet with chips and steamed carrots/green beans/broccoli. Spinach and Ricotta Tortelloni either coated in pizza sauce or with pizza sauce as a dip 😄 Creamy mustard pasta (use creme fraiche) with mushrooms, peas and bacon and some grated parmesan.

Oh and coconut & lemongrass sauce (buy it from the store, it's the lowest salt option) stir-fry with baby corn, mangetout, bell peppers, dried egg noodles.
