Weaning

Can I ask if you're giving your baby 3 meals a day atm yet, and what they are having for each meal? My LO usually has weetabix or porridge for breakfast, then I struggle to decide whether to give him something like a homemade savoury puree like swede and carrot for lunch or dinner. Are you giving your LO something sweeter like yoghurt or fruit puree for their third meal and savoury at lunch?

My girl is 7.5 months and she has 2 meals a day at the min, usually breakfast and dinner! Breakfast can be weetabix, toast with peanut butter, porridge or banana pancakes. Then for dinner it could be omelette with cucumber sticks. I've also made her baby friendly chilli con carne and curry! Lol. Tonight she had mash potato, low salt/no sugar baked beans and cheese ☺️. We use a book called "what mummy makes" it's brilliant with loads of ideas!

My baby’s on 2 meals at the moment, breakfast and tea. For breakfast he usually has either eggs, banana pancakes or porridge with fruit. For tea he either has a little bit of what we’re having, a savoury puree, or broccoli pancakes.

Also as a tip, baby has no idea what a breakfast food is so you can introduce the new foods at breakfast as long as you are happy to cook x
