Need y’all’s help

My daughter just turned one in December, and we’ve recently moved into my mom’s house. She’s currently teething, but her teeth aren’t coming in the typical order—she has three on the bottom, four on the top, and now her back teeth are starting to come in. She only takes a specific pacifier (Tommee Tippee), and unfortunately, we lost all of them somewhere in my mom’s house and haven’t been able to find them. My mom took me to buy new ones, but she picked out a cheaper pacifier. I told her my daughter won’t use it because she’s very particular about the kind she likes. My mom said, “Well, that’s what she’s getting. If she doesn’t take it, she doesn’t need it.” But I know my daughter and how much she relies on her specific pacifier for comfort. I’ve tried everything to help her with teething: bottles with frozen water, frozen washcloths, teething toys, and even baby numbing tablets and gel. But I can tell she still wants or needs her pacifier. What else can I do to help her through this?

That’s kinda rude of your mom. Your mom likes her specific things, your baby can too. Is there any way for you to go and buy one yourself?

@Jennifer I don’t have a job yet. Just moved from a domestic violence situation.

My baby likes chewing on cold celery sticks when she teeth’s. It’s supposed to help soothe the gums

She's probably going about it the wrong way but lowkey, she's not wrong. If that's all she can afford then baby just has to adapt. If not, the you're better off without it. I feel like the longer u keep the pacifier, the harder a habit it will be to break

If you DM me your address I can Amazon you the pacifier

@AH that is so sweet!! thank you for being so kind.
