Need advice

What are we giving our picky toddlers? Every since my son turned one he started being picky so since he wasn’t eating my mom told me to get him pedisure so he been drinking that with his milk but he doesn’t need it cause his weight is fine he was born full term and I’ve heard only babies who are underweight or have some kind of medical condition need it so I honestly don’t know what to do🫠

Mine only eats fruit at some meals, but as long as they eat at least one thing at each meal, I've heard that's okay. We do Chickpeas for protien some times since my guy is the pickiest regarding protien foods. We got some sugar-free barbecue sauce that helps to get him to eat chicken sometimes. I'm interested in other solutions as well!

My son had yogurt and a piece of bread for dinner tonight. Chickpeas are also a go to for us and scrambled eggs with spinach and cheese is pretty dependable. We do lots of fruit, hide veggies when we can and just keep offering protein. We went through a lot of baby food purées last week. Offering a fork or a spoon and an empty bowl or cup with his meal helps us for whatever reason and so does offering food outside of his high chair sometimes.

Kids eat in color is a great resource! They have a blog and even a guide to picky eating.... Tons of recipes available too ! @Kate @Noel and to original poster

We did 100 foods before 1 and thought our girl would eat everything but NOPE! no more vegetables beans milk and rarely meat so I’ve been concerned too. We do yogurt a lot it’s probably her main protein other than cheese and eggs (which she just started becoming more picky about). She loves mashed potatoes so will try to fold in meat or small vegs. She will also eat quesadillas (I will try to hide veggies or eggs). Lots of string cheese. She likes pasta, toast, bagels cream cheese. The brown diet lol. She loves ketchup so I get the no sugar added low sodium and will put that on the side of things to see if she’ll dip. I still try to keep introducing new things or things she used to like. Lately she’s been wanting more and more of what we’re eating (like the actual piece of what we’re eating, not just the same thing which we usually put on her plate lol) which has gotten her to eat more and then I’ll just go for her plate after since she’ll have eaten mine

Also she eats more if she sits in a regular chair. We moved from High chair to the table seat (little thing attached to table) and she’ll sometimes sit there but more often wants to just sit in adult chair
