not everyone gets it no, it’s mainly offered to people with high bmi / history of diabetes so i wouldn’t worry x

Not everyone is being tested. :) I had it due to BMI being over 30 at the start of pregnancy and bump measured a bit big last midwife appt. There’s other reasons for getting GTT as well x

It’s usually offered to those with high BMI, family history of diabetes or certain ethnicities that are more prone to it.

I had no risk factors but was offered GTT when glucose showed up in urine.

I’m 28 weeks and my midwife said I don’t need it as my BMI was fine x

Yes

I even declined mine in Belgium, where do do it for everyone. Because I like the system in the UK a lot more!

I had blood sugar test on my 28 weeks appointment and the midwife said they will only offer it if they see a high result on my blood test. And I haven’t heard anything since the last 2 weeks so I assume it’s fine. So, no not everyone is being offered xx
