Food after nursery

What do you all give your babies to eat after nursery? Mine has a tea at 4pm there and I collect him at 5. I’ve tried giving him dinner at 5:30 but he chucks it on the floor 🥲 but will happily eat some toast.

We just do a snack of whatever I can find in the fridge/cupboard so toast, cheese, fruit, pin wheel, ritz biscuit with cream cheese, that kind of thing x

We collect at 6 and home by 6.30. We do a banana or porridge depending on how well he's eaten at nursery then 5 oz of milk for bed.

My son’s last meal at nursery is 3.30, we pick him up at 6 then give him food usually fruit, cheese and either sandwich or toast then he has a pudding yoghurt then has milk before bed. He’s a gannet x

I just give her what I would the rest of the week for dinner usually same as we are having sometimes she eats it all, some times just some but they have nursery tea at 4 and we don't usually eat until 7 anyway so she's normally ready for something else by then. There portions at nursery are also a lot smaller than she has at home i was quite surprised when i went for a stay and play and realised when they say shes had an orange for snack in my head she was having a half or whole small orange but she was offered 1 segment 😂. Whatever she doesn't eat for dinner I save for either hers or my lunch the next day.

We usually give her Weetabix or porridge to fill her up for bed
