I’m currently going through child custody and we are one year on with little progress so avoid it if you can! But I will say whether you choose to go that route or not, try communicate with your fiancé in writing so text/email. This will become your evidence should you need it. My ex turned nasty and made lots of false allegations against me so we are now going to evidence. Luckily for me I have kept every text which will clear my name!
