What made the doc say yes? My baby has her 4 month appointment Wednesday and Im hoping we can go ahead and start

@Marissa she said she has very good neck strength, she did the whole pull up by hand and on her tummy and there was no bobbling so she said she’s definitely ready

What made you chose peas?

@Favi 🐄💕 both my SIL and doctor said to start with the nasty foods first because if not she’s not going to like them if I give her all the nice stuff

@Jody ohhh we didn't give our daughter peas until she was almost a year and she LOVES them. We started with broccoli and zucchini and then gave her mostly fruit. She's kinda bored of all that but loves her peas, green beans, beans and tofu now 😂🤷‍♀️

@Favi 🐄💕 awww every baby is different. Who knows, my lo might like peas later in the years too even if I didn’t start with it first.

what kind of seat or high chair do you use for your little one during mealtime? I’m curious and always looking for new suggestions 👀

Oh my goodness! She is so freaking adorable 😭🥹 and that hair! Ugh, I can’t with the cuteness! 🥰 I’m so scared to introduce purées to my baby but we did get the okay from her doctor. Did you just blend the peas on their own? I’m thinking of blending peas with my breast milk

@Gissell aww thank you and her hair always look a hot mess 😂 I used water. It said use any liquid of choice but I think breast milk would be perfect with it. I was scared too , I’ve watching her like a hawk ever since

@Gabby girlll I know the feeling. I was so excited too when her doctor said she can so I went straight to Walmart after I dropped her at daycare and got some fruits and veg and her own blender , I was so not ready

My sons doctor also approved him for solids however we started with mango in a little fruit holder thingy HE LOVES IT!

@Jody yes indeed I was so surprised when his doctor mentioned something about it because I thought it was six months that they could start then she explained a lot I didn’t know

@Madison in my country they start at 4. Even with water. I started giving mine water at 2 months. Just a little spoon and she loves it.
