@Annie no worries!! Thank you for answering! I hate that doctors share test results before reviewing them because it makes my nerves go crazy 😂
Got sent to L&D. There was some protein in my urine but not enough to induce me. Got sent home. Next Dr appointment they sent be back to L&D. Got sent home again. Got sent AGAIN to L&D and they said that they recommend I stay and get induced. I didn’t want to be induced I wanted to have my son naturally, but they said I had to sign papers saying if anything went wrong after I left that I went against drs orders so I ended up staying and getting induced. 32hrs of labor.
I don’t remember the number. I’ll try to find it in the morning. But it was high enough they called me immediately to say I was moving into the hospital at 28 weeks.
Also to add to note that it is normal to have some protein in your urine just not large amounts the normal range that it shows is for someone who is not pregnant
I got pre-eclampsia diagnosed at 24 weeks and my urine results were over 800. Baby was delivered (healthy but small) at 27+3 and is now 15 months old
I was 38+3, had a bi-weekly midwife appt and I complained about headaches and blurry vision spells. Ive had my high BP medicated even before pregnancy and that day it was through the roof. She tested my urine and it had protein in it (she did the instant strip that you dip in), got sent to hosp same evening, they did another test and blood test and got diagnosed with pre-eclampsia same evening. Got admitted to hosp that night (it was around 2am) and the following day at 8am I had a choice of induction or c-section. Had my baby via C-section around 5pm the next day so less than 24hr after the first dip stick result x
i can’t remember exactly but i was spilling protein ik that. i wanna say my baseline was something like 190?? if i remember correctly. it’s been a long time sorry 🤗
