What snacks are you giving your 2 year olds?

My toddler has always been happy with fruit pouches, yogurts, smoothie melts, but is suddenly refusing them and I’ve realised I need to step away from the baby snacks! What do you all offer as snacks? My LG is very fussy with fruit and veg, crisps, sandwiches. She’s having fruit smoothies instead but I’m stumped about anything else? Edit - she’s also allergic to dairy!

Cheese and crackers?

Cheese and crackers, bread sticks and yoghurt dip, and oat bars are our current go-to snacks

Soreen bars, oaty bars, rice cakes, dairylea dunkers things

@Megan ooooh yes deffo soreen

Crackers with soft cheese, chicken bites, crisps, cheese, ham, fruit, Yogurt, milk.

Rice cakes with yoghurt on, as a treat he will get the chocolate ones, banana bread, biscuits, cream cheese crackers, raisins, u could try freezing the yoghurt to make icy lollies, flapjacks (hit and miss) toast, sausage rolls, cocktail sausages.

Dunkers, cheesestrings, yogurt pouch, fruit, crisps, oat bars, biscuits (like a mini pack of jammie dodgers or choc animals), pretzels

Cheese Crackers breadsticks Fruit Dunkers Cucumber and Tomatoes Veggie straws - he loves them or gruffalo bbq crisp Greek yoghurt and passionfruit or Raspberries

Sorry I should’ve mentioned she’s allergic to dairy which makes things much harder 😂

Thank you for all the ideas! I do my best to find dairy alternatives but it is HARD. There’s not an awful lot for cmpa kids at this age, hence I’m struggling

At the minute - soreen bars, raisins, oat bars, carrot sticks, cucumber sticks, almonds, apples and pears

I've asked my friend who has a milk allergy 2 year old for ideas for you 🤞

crackers, biscuits like oat biscuits, ham wraps, soreen bars, rice cakes, dried fruit flakes, raisins, veggie straws

Fruit, cheese, almond, hazelnut, dried mulberries, raisin, dried figs, biscuits, breadsticks, muffin

My little one also has cmpa. She likes crackers with spread like peanut butter or the dairy free violife cheese spread. Bananas/apples dipped in peanut butter, any fruit chopped up in a bowl with the alpro gut health yogurt as they've got extra calcium in. She likes dried fruits as well. We often do like a handful of mixed dried fruit, handful of cereal, handful of chocolate drops and some cashews for like a trail mix. We tend to avoid most kind of typical "toddler snacks" as I can't be bothered checking for milk in everything. She also likes soreen loafs, bread sticks and hummus, veggie sticks. Xx

@Alaina thanks Alaina, I know you feel about checking everything 😂 I worry sometimes I stick to the same stuff for too long though because I know it’s safe. I love the trail mix idea x
