@Marie I’ve been homeless before and if it wasn’t for strangers I’d been on the streets and was in the same situation when I was pregnant…God always makes a way tho remember that keep praying and be patient something is gonna open up for you When I was in this situation I was looking at different maternity homes which is safer than homeless shelters
@Naomi unfortunately i don’t think i have any maternity homes in my area , i’ve already did my research .
@Sophia I wanna say something from experience. If you are homeless and have kids and you call DHS/HHS they will take the children and I don't want her children getting taken
I know ohios far as well and this is a stretch but if you find the means to head this way, I’ve been homeless multiple times but never pregnant or with kids. I couldn’t imagine. I’d love to help
Check to see if your location has an Emergency Solutions Grant for emergency housing. Try to contact the local housing authority
Www.bethany.org does a lot to help families stay together… maybe they know of some local resources?
