Oversized Blazer Outfit Help!

Okay, so I have an interview next Friday. I am planning to finally put this oversized blazer to use. It’s been a little difficult for me to pair this particular color with something. I had the pants that go with it but returned them because it felt like too much and now they are no longer being sold. I feel like casually I could wear jeans or black pants with it but idk how to wear it for an interview. I’m sorry I can’t get a larger or clearer photo because it’s no longer available. I can take a picture of mine if necessary!

A black pants or blue jeans should work With an office shoe. A black or navy blue jumpsuit could work too

@Elizabeth I’ve never worn jeans to an interview before. I know they can be dressed up but do you think I could pull it off? It should be fine right?

For interviews it’s best to stick with neutral colors so I think a white shirt under would be good. But since you’re missing the pants that makes it difficult. I feel like jeans would be too informal. The buttons have brown however. What about a brown shirt under and brown slacks?

@Danielle I like that idea! I’ll check around for brown slacks. That would look nice. I was thinking maybe khaki’s could work as well?

I can’t tell if this blazer is ivory/cream. But if so you could definitely do a tan pant! Here’s a pic for reference. It screams professional/put together. You could opt for a flat shoe with it.

@Catirra I wanna say it’s like a light sage color. But I think tan pants would definitely work with that as well!

@Catirra love this look

@Kish Ooh tan pants would work with the sage color too!

Thank you all so much for the suggestions! I think I’ll probably opt for tan pants, but if I can’t find any, then maybe brown!
