TS (hybrid) CC (campus only) I’m so stressed trying to figure out!!

I do open university so i can study from home

@Dejahna how does that work? These two options are my only ones since the program has to be accredited. Which are only these two schools that offer that.

Do it! It's always worthwhile to invest in yourself. Talk to your community college to see if they offer childcare support.

Online courses? What are you wanting to go for?

@Kendra Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Some community colleges have child care for students

I say really sit down and consider what you want to do. Do you want to work 9-5 M-F for the rest of your life or would you like 3 day work weeks making the same amount. Shadow for a day or two at various jobs that interest you. And go for the money making jobs tbh if you’re goin to spend the money, may as well make it worth it in the end. You can also defer student payments w loans if needed. Or use fafsa. But need to apply asap when it opens.

So depending on your income you will get FAFSA which is up to $3600 or so a semester and you might qualify for the cal grant which says is about $3000 per semester It is 22 months but I’m not sure how many semesters that would end up being. You might end up paying a little bit but you will be able to make money for 2 more years with that job, which would probably be worth it

You’ll have a few thousand dollars in loans and maybe a little over 1k OOP

financial aid, campus child care, financial aid programs for child care

How do you figure CCollege is $0?

I do online school through WGU. Fafsa paid for 100% of my education

Community college all the way. It’s longer but you will have more flexibility. I’m a full time student taking online courses and my college offers childcare at discounted rates for student. Also financial aid will help tremendously (you may even get money for yourself once tuition is paid). If your college has scholarships also apply for those! You never know. Last year I was awarded two scholarships so I will def be applying this year.
