have you tried a work from home job? I just got one after trying to find one for 2 years. I just finished orientation on wednesday and start training with the company they placed me at on Monday.
you can do the course to be a daycare provider yourself! you could run a home daycare & get licensed with the county you live in! it’s a great way to bring in a good income (you get to write off groceries & anything for the kids in your taxes up to a certain amount) & it will also ease your worry about leaving your LO at a centre when you’re not familiar with the people who run it, it will also give your little one lots of socialization! i grew up living with my grandmother when i was younger & she ran a licensed daycare from home, i met one of my best friends there when i was 2 & 23 years later we are still close friends!! 🫶🏼 just an idea, not sure where you’re from but around my area its an online course & a couple in person classes like CPR & whatnot to get your daycare license & then you register with the county & they’ll start sending calls your way for potential clients! you don’t have to have a lot of big play equipment to start it off & you can grow it as you go!!
You could try working at a daycare so he can be with you. Probably not same classroom but at least you'd still be close to him if something were to happen, most places you could get a discount and depending on where you live you could get childcare assistance. I know working from home could be an option just watch out for those scams these days. I work two jobs, one of them I can bring my daughter with me but money wise it's not the best, I'm needing to find something else. I'm not balancing things out very well at the moment. It's hard but I believe we can get there
