Help!

I recently had a death in the family & am contemplating going back home to the Midwest (MI). I know the weather there will be way colder than it is here. I’d be flying alone with my 2 mo daughter. Is it worth the risk of exposing her to germs?! I understand that funerals are a one time thing, but I really don’t know if I should go. Leaving her back home with my husband isn’t an option either.

Im in Michigan and pneumonia is going around pretty hard. But if you breastfeed your baby will get protected with your breastmilk. Im sorry for your loss

My husband and I recently had a death in the family as well that was out of town. We have a 1 mo daughter. It was really hard to decide but we chose to show our support by sending a thoughtful card in the mail to our family. We felt they would understand and appreciate the gesture. Traveling in general is still new to us with a baby.

@Rose valid point. I do breastfeed, so that’s something to keep in mind. Appreciate your kindness 🥰

@Sim I’m sorry to hear you’re going through the same thing. I like the idea of the card. It’s so intimidating to travel alone, let alone with a newborn!!
