Yes 😩 I'm having twins this time, so there's that added. Plus I passed out in my driveway "from exertion" at 14 weeks from picking up my toddler's toys and the ER doctor didn't even show me the ultrasound, just said they're fine and my OB apparently doesn't want to check me out. Plus apparently passing out is common with twins and I'm afraid I will be alone next time and not have my husband to catch me and I will hurt myself, plus I have a toddler to look after. However, I wouldn't be worried about not feeling movements yet, because as she explained above, there are so many things that go into that, I couldn't really feel my first until at least 23-25 weeks because I had an anterior placenta and I barely felt him even then until around 28 weeks.
I get you 100% if you want to private message me I’m here! I haven’t felt any movements yet it’s giving me a lot of anxiety my toddler is always running around too and don’t get much rest he’s 2years old. I feel like I’ve got a big bump already even tho I don’t feel no movements I went for a private scan yesturday for the gender reveal and even on the scan it wasn’t moving much which was worrying :/ but they said my placenta is posterior and with my first baby I was feeling flutters by 13 weeks so it is really scary but try take in the moments if your toddler naps see if you can nap too don’t worry about the washing or the chores around the house just try and get as much rest as you can!
I’m 20 weeks in my second pregnancy and I still barely feel anything. Just random movements occasionally. They’re still very tiny now so don’t worry with time you’ll feel so much more. I felt anxious too at your stage of pregnancy but going to my midwife appointments helped as I could ask to hear the heartbeat. Don’t worry too much…high chances baby is doing just fine and soon you’ll begin to feel those movements
Am in the same boat, toddler and anxious with second as I am 19weeks and haven’t felt any movement but have my anatomy scan in this week so really hoping to see my healthy happy baby 🙏 but honestly with toddler around I don’t get much time to think about this pregnancy 🤰
Your uterus is already stretched from your previous pregnancy which means it’s got to work harder to firm up who’s whole feel sooner cus it’s peoples 2nd 3rd 4th ect is old wives tales , it also depends on where baby is laying in your uterus and where you let placenta is , I’m 20+2 with a posterior 3rd baby and I hardly feel anything , I’m not gonna worry untill I need to worry , I have a 18 month old so he keeps me busy along with the cleaning and cooking I’ve been napping when my boy naps so between 12 n 2.30 I’ll go to sleep sometimes I’ll sleep the full amount other times I don’t , I’m also big for 20 weeks but today my brother inlaw has commented saying I’m a lot smaller this time round which makes me question of everything is ok but then i remind myself everything is ok untill it’s not , n I’d say I’m actually big for 20 weeks x
