Does it run in your family? If you feel like you’re eating well and staying hydrated then you should push for a urine test and a gestational diabetes test too.
Definitely advocate for yourself, go with someone to support you. Pre-eclampsia symptoms usually start around the 20th week and it is very serious. Say it makes you feel extremely anxious, make it sound important, say that you need that peace of mind. You can also monitor your blood pressure at the pharmacy or by getting a device that you can use from home.
@Stéphanie - Doula I’ve sent you a message if that’s okay!!
In addition to a second opinion get your iron checked if you haven’t already. My iron was low and I had these similar symptoms and turns out it was pretty low. Also I highly recommend a pregnancy safe electrolyte for hydration. That helped a lot with my headaches as well. I used LMNT electrolyte.
You should. Pre-eclampsia is serious.
