This does made me feel a little better, thank you! I hope little ones happy and healthy now. Yes Dads very supportive and we’re always swapping so we have an equal number of days in the hospital. When did your little one get better regarding his lungs?
@Areeba Well to be fair our consultants said as he grows with age etc his lungs will repair overtime, That being said it's cold and flu season and he does go nursery and I think he's been coughing since November constantly 😫😫 we've recently taking him gp and he's now testing out an asthma pump, just incase he has asthma .... So as he's so young they can't do a proper test , so we've had the pumps since November and I can't see a difference, it's actually soo annoying! I know it's not the best thing to read but it is a reality that our prem babies are very vulnerable especially during this season 😫💙💙
Is your baby still sucking in the ribs ?
Aww I had a premature baby at 24wks and although our stories are different, I do relate to the hospital surroundings! I know its easier said than done but please make time for you and your eldest 🩷 I know with your son being in hospital you feel guilty if your not there for both kids! Although at the time my eldest was 14 , he still needed his mama ! Are you allowed to bring your daughter to the unit? I know some hospital polices have changed since covid. His lungs will be fragile for a little while, My son had chronic lung disease when born and I do recall the ribs fighting for each breath, you have to remember he's in the best hands and has care with hik 24.7! It's OK to have a couple days off for yourself and to be with your eldest? Perhaps Dad can be by his side - If not already a little more? I hope some of this helps 🩷
