Intense cramping?

I’m 5 weeks, 4 days today, and last night I woke up at midnight with severe cramping :( I had to lay on the tile floor for like 10 mins to cool myself down. I scared me a lot, but there was no bleeding. I called my Dr, and they told me to go to the ER if it happens again. Anyone else experience anything like this? Scared it’s miscarriage, but the lack of bleeding is giving me hope.
