No not the whole 8 hour shift. Maybe for about 2/3 hours
If you never have to take a phone call or video meetings, then possibly by juggling and fitting things in when you can. Most companies with wfh state that you need childcare - sahm is a job in itself, if I was an employer, I wouldn’t be happy paying someone to work that was also responsible for a young child 🥰
I have my partner take care of them while I work.
My husband works from home, and there is absolutely no way he could work from home and have our daughter around, what would you do with your 1yr old whilst you are working? Something will slip either your work or your childcare. Most WFH will have something in the contract about childcare
I can’t even be on the phone or my computer for 45 seconds around my son without him screaming/crying to talk to whomever I’m on the phone with and/or throwing his hand at the keyboard to see what happens. It’s a constant wrestling match when those items are out 🫣🫣🫣
I can’t see that being possible. You won’t be able to do either job properly:/
My little one won't even let me use my laptop for 5 minutes without demanding my attention! There's no way I could look after him and get any work done, unfortunately.
