Blood?
Hi everyone, my daughter keeps having blood in her stool. This is the fourth time spread out over a month. I don’t know what to think of it. My husband doesn’t think it’s blood. Doctor didn’t give me a straight answer. She did an allergy test she’s not allergic to anything. Idk what to do about it. I’m very concerned, I have a pit in my stomach I feel like it might be something serious. Anyone experience anything like this?
Blood in stool is never "normal". From the consistency of the poop, it doesn't look like she's constipated either...has she been constipated before ever? If so, that may have caused a fissure causing some bleeding in her anus. ..in that case your best thing would be to offer Fibre rich food and plenty of water. But if she's not been constipated recently then please push the doctor for some bloodwork, tests etc...your gut feeling is the biggest thing you have as a mother!!
