melanated skin can take 2 years to develop the skin tone they’ll probably take into adulthood
My daughter’s 3 and still doesn’t have even a light brown complexion yet, I think maybe when she’s a bit older. Her eye color changed from when she was born until she turned almost 2. Her hair pattern was straight and then a variety of curl patterns as she aged.
That’s my daughter, she’s 4 and half Mexican. She came out pretty light and got really dark for a couple months. This is her now. She about stays that color but of course darkens a little in summer. That’s my little boy, he’s 11 months and half black. He has stayed that light and even in summer did not darken. Her eyes have always been brown. He did come out with bluish eyes but has went brown. Absolutely beautiful babies!!!
@Jody you are stunning!!!!!
Oh an their hair has been the same since birth. I’d say hers maybe darkened a bit. It’s very dark brown and point straight. His is a light brown and curly.
My son is mixed white British and British Asian Pakistani. As a baby he was very pale with bright blonde hair and grey eyes. His eyes changed to very dark brown by 6months. His hair started going darker around 4. He’s 10 now and his hair is now light brown and complexion is only just starting to darken, but he’s still quite light. Bless him looks more Mediterranean with his complexion x
@Willow thank you 💕
My color never came in and I am mixed and so is my partner and he is a lot darker than me it all depends!!
Any infant will usually have their true complexion around 6-12months. That goes for skin and eyes. Eyes can continue to change a little for another year or so.. but hair is more tricky. I’ve had like 5 different curl patterns 😂 I know people who had different shades as they grew up,, either getting darker or lighter
