Wine 🍷

Got into a bad habit of drinking wine most evenings. What used to be a bottle of 2 a week has turned into 5.. I realise it’s getting too much but I can’t break the habit…

Could always buy wines you don’t like as much so will make you drink less as you don’t like them as much?

I find I feel more obliged to finish a bottle if I’ve opened it. But boxed wine is great as you don’t have a visual of how much is in there, so for me I find I pour and drink only what I actually fancy drinking. We also aim for a few no alcohol evenings throughout the week and it’s easier if we both choose not to.

I was like this before I got pregnant again, I found it was a lot of the time because I was bored so try and find something to do. Also if my partner wanted a drink, it was hard to say no. He works shifts so I started to work out when we would be both off together on an evening and make set dates to have a drink together, having it to look forward to meant I didn’t miss not having one.
